The Eire Empire at it's peak consisted of 84-star systems, each one home to a tiny enclave of humanity. Terraforming was imperfect on most, and still in progress on some, leading to a harsh life.
The map at left is a route map, describing the links between planets that are less than a 2 month journey from each other.
The Eire Empire spread out from Earth in all directions, forming a sheet roughly 400 light-years thick, and extending roughly 1800 light-years in radius.
Liners travel between these stars at approximately 8 ly/day, meaning that it takes a little under a year and a half to travel across the Empire.
